Upcoming Features

TerrainComposer 2 has the following added features:

 

  • Create Meshes from Unity Terrain (Implemented in TC 1.3).
  • Create non custom terrain tiles and terrain areas, you can create any terrain tile shape.
  • Schematic Node View with preview images and windows for every layer, filter and subfilter.
  • Preview control window. Scroll, zoom, rotate and change strength directly in a preview window by using the mouse.
  • Added procedural curve functions Cellnoise, Billow, Multifractal, Voronoi, Spheres and Gradient all controllable from the preview control window.
  • New slider system with min-max sliders (Implemented in current TC)..
  • Make custom splat textures by mixing them, creating more variation easily (Implemented in current TC)..
  • Import images and read each color channel seperately.
  • Import/Export by naming string, save/select naming strings with 1 click. (Implemented in TC 1.3).
  • Auto save Scenes and TerrainComposer projects (Implemented in current TC).
  • Slice multiple terrains into 2×2 and keep all the terrain data (splat images, trees and grass). (Implemented in TC 1.2).
  • Slice images into tiles.
